Zambeef Products PLC is the largest integrated cold chain food products and Agribusiness Company in Zambia and one of the largest in the Southern Africa region. It is involved in the primary production, processing, distribution, and retailing of beef, chicken, pork, eggs, dairy, fish, flour, stock feed, and day-old chicks throughout Zambia and the surrounding region.

HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER – NOVATEK LUSAKA (X1)
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
• Ensuring a safe workplace environment without risk to health.
• Ensuring that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.
• Ensuring the Company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting.
• Ensuring the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations.
• Ensuring that all accidents are documented, investigated and recommended improvements implemented.
• Ensuring that safety inspections are carried out, fire drills and fire alarms are correctly reported, safety inspections, risk assessments and lone working procedures are managed and employees are aware of their responsibilities.
• Co-ordinating the development of health & safety policies, systems of work and procedures.
Ensuring all visitors to the operating area of the plant are briefed on health and safety rules and safety gear is issued to these visitors.
• Ensuring no unauthorized persons are entering the operating area of the plant.
• Maintaining a hygiene environment.
The Required Qualifications are:
• Grade 12 School Certificate
• Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
• Experience of formulating, implementing and revising Health and Safety policies, procedures and Investigations
• At least 3 years recent and relevant experience in a similar role

IT TECHNICIAN – HUNTLEY, CHISAMBA (01)
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
• Hardware installation, which includes repair/replacement of faulty IT equipment.
• Installation of new networks and troubleshoot network problems that may arise.
• Software installation, which includes installation of Operating Systems, MS Office and other remote support, tools (e.g. AnyDesk and Team viewer).
• Repairing and maintenance of computer hardware such as Computers, Printers, and other system utilized by the company and managed by the IT department.
• Training of staff on the functionalities of computer systems applications in Abattoirs.
• Routine Preventive Maintenance of all equipment managed by the IT Department.
The Required Qualifications are:
• Full grade 12 Certificate
• Diploma in Computer related field.
• More than 2 years’ Impressive, demonstrable track record of skills/experience gained within a similar position or at a similar level.
• Member of the Information and Communications Technology Association of Zambia (ICTAZ))
The Required Attributes Include:

IT HELPDESK SUPPORT – HEAD OFFICE (01)
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
• Receiving/Sending out all I.T related Complaints from/to all branches of the organisation.
• Receiving I.T goods and Services related complaints from all Zambeef groups
• Troubleshooting/solving simple faults that non-technical staff can handle i.e. printers, scales and computers.
• Basic troubleshooting, printer user configuration and repair.
• Issuing complaints and complaint numbers on request and when need arises.
• Following up on complaints with retail shops and technicians.
• Managing service provider accounts.
• Raising purchase orders for all I.T related technical and internet services and follow up on payments i.e. Land Mobile Radio Licenses and Vsat Radio Stations, Scale Certification, Annual Weighbridge Licenses, Kaspersky, Barracuda products.
• Forwarding complaints to specific technicians.
• Raising purchase orders for all I.T related goods and Negotiate for discounts on good and services.
• Reconciling supplier accounts that we deal with as a department
The Required Qualifications are:
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Diploma in Information Technology
• Four years’ experience in this particular field
• Impressive, demonstrable track record of skills/experience gained within a similar position or at a similar level.
• Required computer literacy levels
• Average skills with Ms Office suite
• Member of the Information and Communications Technology Association of Zambia (ICTAZ).
