JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
Chitambo Agro Processing Limited (the “Company”) is a greenfield project that is owned by the Industrial Development Corporation (“IDC”) in partnership with the Chitambo District Cooperative Union (CDCU).
The Company has invested in a cassava processing plant for the production of cassava meal, starch, and animal feed for the local and regional markets.
Key Responsibilities
• Transport staff, official passengers, assets, and other materials in a safe manner.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safe custody of all vehicles assigned and driven.
• Ensure the regular recording of all trips made, and the endorsement of passengers (if any) or authorizing officer in the vehicle logbook.
• Report any vehicle damages or faults in a timely manner.
• Ensure the timely and proper repairs, service, and maintenance of the vehicles assigned in an efficient manner.
• Check and provide regular reports/endorsements on vehicle repairs, service, and maintenance undertaken by the authorized vehicle repair vendors.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience
1. Must be 18 years and above.
2. Possess a Grade 9 School Certificate.
3. Possess a clean valid driver license of at least class C.
4. Must be knowledgeable of safety and traffic rules.
5. Minimum of two (2) years work experience in a similar position.

JOB PURPOSE:
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the position is responsible for coordinating and initiating purchase orders and procurement of goods and services for the Centre and conducting research to determine procurement of goods and services at competitive prices.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(i) Prepares annual procurement plans for the Centre.
(ii) Implements procurement plans by initiating purchase orders for submission to prospective suppliers.
(iii) Monitors procurement progress on all planned activities.
(iv) Tracks vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
(v) Maintains and updates suppliers’ register.
(vi) Reviews purchase requisitions for completeness and accuracy and follow up on discrepancies with the initiating department.
(vii) Collects quotations and prepares comparative analysis.
(viii) Processes Purchases Requisitions and prepares Purchase Orders.
(ix) Receives bid responses as per guidelines and reviews the same.
(x) Maintains procurement files and records.
(xi) Prepares and processes standard procurement documents.
(xii) Performs any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
(i) Grade 12 with a minimum of five (5) “O” levels including English and
Mathematics.
(ii) Minimum of Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply.
(iii) Three (3) years practical work experience in the field.
(iv) Conversant with Zambian Procurement Laws.
(v) Must be a fully paid up Member of the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS) with a 2022 Practicing License.
(vi) Must be Computer literate.

The Electoral Commission of Zambia seeks to recruit two (02) qualified and experienced Zambian nationals to fill in the positions of Drivers.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To transport staff and/or goods as assigned by the supervisor.
REPORTING ACCOUNTABILITY
The Driver will report to the Head Driver.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Full Grade Twelve (12) Certificate or its equivalent
• A minimum of class of Driver's License (C) 5 years' experience in a quasi-government institution
• Able to drive trucks of greater than 16.000 kg Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) Knowledge of auto-mechanics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintains vehicle under charge in conformance to the road safety and transport regulations
• Performs daily checks of the vehicle under charge every morning before use, such as checking tier pressure, water, oil etc., as per good driving practice and company standards in order to maintain the vehicle in good serviceable condition;
• Ensures trips are properly authorized, accurately recording all trips and refueling in the vehicle log book according to company policy or as required by the supervisor and parking only at authorized premises according to Commission policy.
• Transports authorized personnel/goods on Commission vehicles: Drives vehicle under charge in conformance to the Highway Code, showing courtesy to other road users and pedestrians,
• Reports any faults on the vehicle under charge to the supervisor and facilitates its servicing and routine maintenance according to Commission policy:
• Adheres to health and safety rules by sale-guarding vehicle, people, goods and for materials through the application of best practices and following the Road Transport and Safety Agency Rules and Regulations in conformity with Commission
• Transport policy: Promptly reports any accident to the police as required by law, and to provide a detailed report on the same to the supervisor for insurance claims and other purposes.
• To provide any special or incidental report required by the supervisor in the agreed timeframe:
• Assists with the on loading and offloading of goods as necessary Cleans the motor vehicle under charge: and performs any other related duties that the supervisor may reasonably request form time to time.
