Job Purpose
The Responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to the following:
• Ensuring optimum availability of the equipment
• Examining electrical installations and determining faults and state of repairs required
• Ensuring that tools/equipment used for electrical installations are kept in appropriate places after operations
• Conducting planned and adhoc maintenance to plant and equipment in accordance with job card instructions
• Utilizing correct materials and consumables as specified.
• Ensuring that lock out tag procedures are always followed
• Preventing injury to personnel and safeguarding company property
• Ensuring compliance to the Health, Safety and Environment standards/Policy.

To be considered for this position, the candidate should meet the following minimum requirements:
• Grade 12 Certificate.
• Craft Certificate in Electrical.
• Technician Certificate in Electrical will be an added advantage.
• Member of Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
• Must be physically fit and with necessary dexterity to work with tools

The successful candidate must be result oriented and have the ability to work with own initiative, ability to understand scope of work, paying particular attention to Company policies and Corporate objectives.
