JOB DETAILS:
ZAMPALM Limited has established the first commercial oil palm plantation in Zambia. Plantation is 3,700ha and in located in Kanchibiya District in Muchinga Province.
Suitable candidates are invited to apply for the following positions:
Plantation Manager
The role oversees the plantation of Zampalm by ensuring that the requirements of the business are planned, executed and reported in an efficient and effective manner. Responsible for ensuring projects are managed. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of all facets of the plantation and nursery.
Location: Zampalm, Mpika (Kanchibiya, Muchinga province)
Reporting To: General Manager .

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordination of all agricultural practices in the Plantation and Nursery Coordination and control of harvesting operations;
• Working to maximize the production quality of FFB;
• Manage and lead staff across the plantation and ensuring field operations are appropriately staffed and labour requirements met;
• Ensuring the welfare of employees is maintained at a high standard.
• Managing records to ensure their accurate and up-to-date completion;
• and Preparation of monthly and quarterly Report Skills and knowledge sharing: Support and guides team members in compliance with Company processes; policies and procedures and with keeping abreast of latest technological related trends, technical accounting: legislative and reporting requirements.
• Contribute to the development of a positive team culture.

Minimum Requirements
• Grade 12 certificate
• Degree in Agriculture (Crop/Plant Science)
• Strong hands-on operational management experience in either commercial farming or plantations
• Minimum of three year’s relevant and recent experience at Management level
• Proven computer skills
