JOB DETAILS:
Zambia Airports Corporation Limited is a reputable aviation organisation with a mission to provide world class Airport and Air Navigation Services at the four major airports namely, Kenneth Kaunda in Lusaka, Simon Mwansa Kapwepwe in Ndola, Harry Mwaanga Nkumbula in Livingstone, and Mfuwe International Airport and Ten (10) Provincial and Strategic Airports. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Zambian nationals with a vision to excel in the above position:
This role reports to the Electrical Technician. The job holder will be responsible for Assisting the electrical technician in Installation, repairing and maintenance of electrical power supply and equipment in the Terminal Building at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport for optimum performance.

Key Performance Areas
• Inspect the electrical power supply substations for optimum serviceability.
• Diagnosis, repair and testing of the electrical power supply and equipment in the Terminal Building and auxiliary facilities of escalators, elevators, baggage carousels, check-in counters, and apron flood lighting, carpark and street lighting, and air conditioning.
• Carry out routine maintenance of 400v network and distribution boards in both T1 and T2, escalators, elevators, baggage handling system, check-in counters, terminal building lighting, carpark and street lighting.
• Filling in of checklists during dairy, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi and annual maintenance.
• Carry out stock taking of electrical spare parts.
• Reading of technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Any other duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS
• Full Grade 12 certificate with 5 O’ Levels credit or better including English, Mathematics and Science
• Member of the EIZ.
• Technicians certificate in Electrical from a reputable institution

EXPERIENCE
• 2 years working experience in a similar institution.
