JOB DETAILS:
PURPOSE
is position exists to optimally manage a contract site by ensuring the safe installation, maintenance and repairs of all steel pipes, chutes, conveyors and other coal beneficiation plant equiThpment. .

RESPONSIBILITIES
Health and Safety
• Ensure to wear correct PPE at all times
• Attend pre-shift meetings
• Report unsafe conditions and behavior
• Adhere to FAMP and Client policies and Procedures
• Always be safe
Maintenance and Fabrication
• Implement maintenance schedules
• Maintains/repairs all mechanical equipment
• Identifies and prioritise equipment in need of maintenance/repairs
• Plans down time for repairs/maintenance
• Plans for material and men to assist
• Conduct risk assessment/study procedures
• Conduct repairs, maintenance
• Fabricate general steelwork

QUALIFICATIONS
• Grade Twelve(12) School Certificate
• Craft Certificate in Boiler Making
• EIZ Membership
EXPERIENCE
• 2 years experience in any of the following fields: Mining/construction/transport/plant hire or manufacturing.
