The Role Responsibilities
Strategy
• Have an awareness and understanding of the overall Group and CABM Function strategy and how this feeds into the country and business unit strategy.
Business
• Be aware and understand the environment in which the country operates. Keep abreast of local business performance and trends, as well as social and political trends.
Processes
• Assist the CABM Team to manage CABM vendors, including process management and contract renewals.
• Assist the CA Manager to manage the Bank’s SCB Facebook page and processes involved.
• Assist the B&M Manager to coordinate CPBB and CCIB Campaigns and any brand-related processes.

Risk Management
• Understand the main risks facing the Group country and the role the individual plays in mitigating them. Basic understanding of the monthly CST and RRA processes.
Governance
• Assist the Unit in tracking and monitoring the branding requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
• Assist with delivery of the quarterly Townhalls (virtual and physical) – managing the programme, briefing speakers and event / logistics management on the day.
Regulatory & Business Conduct

• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Contribute to [Corporate Affairs Brand and Marketing to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.] *
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
• Manage CABM Conduct risk action items on an annual basis.
Key Stakeholders
• External Stakeholders such as Advertising Agency, Media houses
• Internal stakeholders – business heads and staff

Other Responsibilities
• Ensure all Branding materials are accounted for and are in good order.
• Ensure all vendor contracts and accounts are up to date.
• Help with key input into the development of the social media calendar.
• Produce the quarterly country newsletter.
• Support internal and external event planning and management.
• Support internal communications initiatives and messaging.
• Provide input into day to day/ weekly reporting requirements.
• Assist with the administrative tasks, as needed.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Our Ideal Candidate
• Minimum 5 O’Level Credits or better including Mathematics and English.
• Minimum graduate from a well reputable University with qualification in Marketing or relevant field.
• Able to plan, prioritise and deliver on multiple projects under tight timelines.
• Good Stakeholder Management Skills
• Strong communication skills; Strong verbal and written.
• Good understanding of marketing principles, with the ability to translate business requirements and execute to different platforms.
• Good understanding of digital marketing Channels,
• Good understanding of the banking industry, financial products and services.
• Strong business acumen, combined with high levels of creativity
• Able to operate in a fast-paced environment. (event management is an advantage)
