JOB DETAILS:
Costing Officer .

Key areas of responsibility :
• Weekly and Monthly review of product costs against pricing of the products with the view of correcting any negative margins
• Posting of all monthly journals , including running of monthly assessment file
• Reconciliation of inventory sub ledger to the general ledger and clearing accounts on a monthly basis including timely resolution of differences prior to month end closure
• Ensuring timely posting of stock count variances after approval as per limit of authority
• Proactively identifying and advising management on areas where costs could be saved for the sustainable growth of the business

Requirements:
• ACCA level 3/Bachelor of Accountancy
• At least three years experience in a manufacturing /processing environment
• Computer skills/knowledge of ACCPAC
• Must be a member of The Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants
