JOB DETAILS:
The Human Rights Commission is hereby inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following position;
Job Title: Director -Salary Grade HRC K

Qualifications
• Candidate must be Zambian with a minimum age of 35 years
• Bachelor of Laws Degree and a Law Practice Certificate
• Have 8 years post qualification experience, 5 of which should be at senior management level

Duties
The successful candidate will report to the Chairperson and will be responsible for
• Coordinating effectively the implementation of decisions and programmes in order to harmonise the operations of the Commission
• Providing effectively secretarial services to the Commission in order to facilitate its business
• Advising effectively on legal matters in order to ensure that the Commission operates within
• its legal mandates
• Managing effectively human, financial and other resources in order to facilitate the attainment of the Commission’s objectives
• An LLM Degree with specialisation in Human Rights Law will be an added advantage
