JOB DETAILS:
Main Purpose Of Position:
• To operate within the Fruit and Veg department efficiently, effectively and hygienically to ensure customer satisfaction at all times with the highest standards of service and products.
• Reporting to:
• Fruits & Vegetables Assistants will report to the Fruits & Vegetables Supervisor and the Supervisor will be reporting to the Store Manager & Parallel to the Head of Department.
• Department: Sales Floor – Fruits & Vegetables Section
• Job Type: Fruits & Vegetables Assistants & Fruits & Vegetables Supervisors
• Location: Choppies Zambia

Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be flexible to work outside Lusaka
Must be able to replenish stock outs and proper stock handling
Receive and store goods in the required area
Prepare, prepack and merchandise stock
Must be familiar with FIFO
Ensure that the damages and expiry procedures are adequately followed
Ensure great presentation is done when displaying stock
Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the department
Check quality of the products
Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortage

Minimum: Grade 12 School Certificate
• Academic Qualification:
• Diploma in Agricultural Studies/Business Administration – will be an added advantage

Work Experience and Skill:
• Minimum 1 – 2 years in a similar field

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
