JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
Working closely with Procurement Production, Suppliers and Freight carriers for all inbound routing and coordinating inter Business Unit outbound routing, via third party common carriers, cross docks and shipments. .

  Job Accountabilities:
• Manage the inbound loads and coordinate with production facilities for accurate material and arrival times
• Manage all daily dispatching duties
• Conduct carrier contract negotiations and compliance
• Manage Key Performance Indicators (cost/Km, on time deliveries, quality, etc.)
• Resolving customer issues aligned with service failures that may arise
• Monitor new developments in the supply chain and act accordingly

  Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics or business/commercial disciplines
• Minimum of five (5) years' work experience
• Relevant experience in the mining industry will be added advantage
• Ability to communicate clearly
• Result oriented and self-starter
• Able to act strategically and innovative in approach
• Member of Chartered Institute of Transport and Logistics
