Overview
Kafubu Water and Sanitation Company is a Water Utility Company on the Copperbelt providing quality water and sanitation services to its customers in Ndola, Luanshya and Masaiti. In its continued strides to sustain and improve service delivery to its esteemed customers, the Company seeks to employ highly motivated and goal oriented individuals in the positions of:
Manager-Safety, Health, Environment And Quality
Location: Ndola
Overall purpose of the job
To supervise effectively the safety, health, environment and quality assurance activities in order to ensure that the products and services of the company meet the highest quality standard and that the working conditions of the company are favorable and safe.

Main responsibilities include:
• Supervising effectively the development and implementation of policies, Standard Operating Procedures and Manuals in order to guide the operations of the Section
• Supervising effectively legal compliance to drinking water, occupational health, safety and Environmental regulations in order to adhere to the applicable laws.
• Supervising effectively the monitoring of water and effluent quality in order to ensure safety of portable water and safe disposal of effluent into the environment
• Supervising effectively the adherence to quality, safety, health and environment related International Organisation for Standard(ISO) in order to protect the customers and maintain the environment.
• Supervising effectively the preparation of operational reports and making recommendations and/or changes to working practices in order to enhance safety and compliance with legislation
• Supervising effectively the identification of risks and hazards and investigations of any accidents and near misses in order to prevent future reoccurrence.

Qualifications and experience
• Full form V/Grade 12 Certificate
• Degree in Occupational Safety and Health Environment, Public Health Environmental Health, Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• 8 years experience with 2 years at Management Level

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
