JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
Operating the plant with the set operational controls and procedures.

Job Accountabilities:
• Effective communication with support sections for the optimized, controlled and efficient functioning of the plant. Conduct field patrols, measuring and monitoring plant parameters.
Undertake corrective actions wherever required for the smooth and efficient operation of the plant
Collect and prepare samples for laboratory analysis.
Completion of the routine plant activities.
Identification of maintenance jobs and co-ordinate with service personnel.
Completion of the plant calendar activity for the day.
Maintain the up-keep of the plant by following the 5S practices.
Follow Safety practices of doing jobs with concerns for Environment and Quality.
Complete reporting on the production, transactions and stocks from installed field gauges, integrator and totalizers at specified intervals in operators log

Requirements:
• Grade 12 School Certificate
3 Years proven experience in acid plant operations
Good communication skills
Able to work under minimum supervision
