REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS CAFETERIA SERVICES AT UNICAF UNIVERSITY'S NEW CAMPUS
UNICAF UNIVERSITY IS PLEASED TO INVITE PROPOSALS FROM QUALIFIED, PROFESSIONAL, AND EXPERIENCED FOOD SERVICE PROVIDERS TO OPERATE THE CAFETERIA AT OUR NEWLY CONSTRUCTED CAMPUS.
We're seeking vendors with a proven track record in managing and operating food services in academic or similar environments. The selected provider will be responsible for delivering diverse, healthy, and high-quality food options, while also ensuring top-notch customer service and the highest standards of food safety. Interested providers are encouraged to visit our new campus to familiarise themselves with the space and assess potential operations.

THE COMPREHENSIVE PROPOSAL SHOULD INCLUDE:
Company profile, demonstrating your experience in providing cafeteria services, preferably in educational institutions.
Proposed menu featuring variety, nutritional value, dietary accommodations, and local sourcing.
Pricing strategy that prioritises affordability for students.
Proposed staffing and operational plan.
Detailed approach to maintaining cleanliness and food safety.
Strategy for waste reduction and sustainability.
Proof of relevant licenses and insurances.
Three professional references from previous or current clients, preferably from the education sector.
Proposed rent offering for leasing the cafeteria space.
Please submit your proposals no later than 14th of August, 2023. The selection process will take into account the provider's experience, proposed offerings, operational plan, rent offering, and overall value for money.
Submissions should be emailed in PDF format to the email address: cafeteria@zambia.unicaf.org, with the subject line "Cafeteria Services Proposal - New Campus".
Unicaf University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or parts of proposals, to negotiate with all qualified providers, and to waive informalities if it is in the university's best interest to do so.
