EXPRESSION OF INTERESTS
TO OPERATE THE CINEMA AND GYMNASIUM AT ECL BUSINESS PARK, KITWE
Introduction
The National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) is a corporate body established under the National Pensions Scheme Act number 40 of 1996. NAPSA in accordance with its investment guidelines has investments in real estate developments, which. include the ECL Business Park comprising a Hotel, two Office Blocks and a Shopping Mall. The Shopping Mall and Office Blocks have a combined total lettable space of about 28,590.02 square metres.
The Opportunity
The Authority hereby wishes to engage two (02) operators. AN Operator for the Cinema and another Operator for the Gymnasium for its ECL Shopping Mall under a lease agreement or as shall be agreed between the parties.
The Cinema is a partially constructed and measures about 2,260 square metres with an estimated seating capacity of about 506.
The Gymnasium is a 1,250 square metres space with a fully functional Sauna inclusive supporting conveniences.
The spaces may be viewed at the Applicant's cost by contacting the Centre Manager or Marketing/Leasing Officer who can be contacted on 0967 101 703/0765088055 (working hours only).
Eligibility Criteria
Interested parties are requested to:
1. Submit detailed company profile with certificate of incorporation.
2. Demonstrate a successful background in the cinema industry, and/or operation of a gymnasium, in a business proposal.
Interested parties are requested to send their expressions of interest marked. "Expression of Interest to Operate the Cinema at ECL Business Park" or "Expression of Interest to Operate the Gymnasium at ECL Business Park". accompanied with the requested documentation, addressed to the Director
Investments, 1st Floor, NAPSA House, Levy Business Park, Comer of Kabelenga and Church Roads, Lusaka: and must be received not later than 15th December 2023 by close of business day.
