Huachen International Supply Chain Limited is seeking to employ a Tracking Control Intern to join our team.

POSITION: Tracking Control Intern (X1)

LOCATION: Ndola

JOB PURPOSE

To assist with day-to-day tasks involved in managing the company’s fleet, real-time GPS tracking and monitoring.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor and track the status and movement of shipments and fleet trucks in real-time using company tracking systems and software.

Provide timely updates to clients and internal teams regarding shipment progress, fleet movement, and any delays.

Identify, report, and resolve operational issues or delays by coordinating with drivers, escorts, carriers, and other relevant stakeholders.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date tracking records, shipment information, and fleet movement data.

Collaborate with the operations team to improve tracking procedures, systems, and operational efficiency.

Prepare and submit tracking reports, fleet movement reports, and performance analysis as required.

Ensure compliance with all logistics, transportation, and company regulations and procedures.

Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

1. Diploma in Transport and Logistics

2. Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field is preferred.

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

6. Proficient in using tracking systems and software.

7. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.

NOTE. All interviews will be conducted in person at our Sakania Office in Ndola.
