Background
The National Prosecution Authority (NPA) is an autonomous body established by the NPA Act No. 34 of 2010. Its mission is to “provide prosecution services to contribute to a crime free Zambia” In its quest to improve service delivery. NPA is hereby inviting applications from sultably qualified candidates to fill the following positions:

Job title: 4 Public Prosecutors -Salary Scale NPA/06 – Four (04) Positions
Reports to: Senior Public Prosecutor
Duty Station NPA Kapiri, NPA Monzo, NPA Solwezi and NPA Kawambwa

Main Job Purpose:
To prosecute criminal cases in the Magistrate Courts of Zambia in order to bring offenders to justice
Specific Duties and Requirements:
• Prosecutes effectively criminal cases in order to facilitate the proper dispensation of justice.
• Processes timely dockets in order to expedite the delivery of justice
• Guides and directs investigators in the conduct of criminal investigations in order to ensure proper collation of justice.

Qualifications and Work Experience
• Full Form V or Grade 12 School Certificate
• LLB
• Skills and Other Attributes
• Excellent oral and written skills for purposes of advocacy and preparation of legal documents
• Ability to work under pressure
• Integrity

• Interpersonal Skills
• Tact and Diplomacy
• Self-Confident
