JOB DETAILS:
The Zambia Industrial Commercial Bank Limited (ZICB) is committed to meeting its mission of supporting its customers’ wealth creation and growth through provision of customer centric banking solutions to its chosen segments in support of commercialisation and industrialisation of the Zambian economy “24/7”. In line with its mission, the Bank is seeking to recruit highly motivated, result-oriented, well qualified and experienced professionals to fill the following vacancies.
Reporting to the Bank Secretary and Legal Counsel, the job holder will be responsible for effectively contributing to the ZICB business through the provision of legal support and assisting the Bank in identifying eliminating, minimizing, and managing legal risk by anticipating issues and risk and liaising directly with the business or legal advisors of the business as appropriate.

Qualifications and Experience Required
• Grade 12 School Certificate or GCE
• Bachelor’s degree – LLB
• Advocate of the High Court
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience

Skills Required to undertake the Role:
• Planning and Organisation skills
• Excellent Communication skills both oral and written English
• An astute Lawyer with analytical skills
• In-depth knowledge of the banking industry including the applicable regulations and guidelines and the Banking and Financial Services Act
• Ability to respond promptly and effectively to changes in a situation to achieve goals
• Determined with zeal, energy, drive to see things through and achieve results

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
