Community Led Monitoring Field Officer
Overview
Ciheb Zambia is implementing the community led monitoring (CLM) to collect feedback from the recipients of care accessing ART services at selected health facilities in Southern Province of Zambia. This initiative is being implemented with the local community-based organizations; Kocebuka Community Foundation, Ndekeleni Development Foundation and Youth Development organization. CLM is a PEPFAR’s client-centered approach which puts communities, their needs, and their voices at the center of the HIV response. The initiative is being implemented through collaborative effort with Ministry of Health, National AIDS Council, civil society groups, networks of people living with HIV, and other affected groups.

Overall Responsibilities:
The CLM Field Officer will work under the supervision of the Project Manager

Roles and responsibilities
• Coordinate stakeholder meetings with the key stakeholder involved in ART implementation
• Act as a liaison person between the community based organizations and the health facility.
• Participate in training and mentoring the community based data collectors in the use of the PEPFAR CLM client feedback survey tool.
• Support the community based organization in adhering to the standard operating procedures for data collection.
• Work closely with the facility In-charges and data collectors during data collection.
• Ensure all client feedback survey forms are well documented and entered into the DHIS2 once off event tracker.
• Conduct community and facility engagement meeting in collaboration with the CBOs.
• Support the CBOs in ensuring all reporting tools are available in hard copies on time
• Participate in the PEPFAR client feedback meetings
• Compile and submit monthly activity report and any other report as may be required by the supervisor.
• Represent Ciheb Zambia at planned and adhoc meetings on Community led Monitoring at PHO and DHO level

Experience and Skills
• Good organization skills
• Work with minimal supervision
• Clinical training skills
• Prior experience working on any vaccination project
• 80% travel out of the work station
• Fluent in written/spoken English and Tonga
• Must have good writing, interpersonal, communication
• Knowledge and understanding of the health systems at the ART clinics in Southern Province
• Experience in HIV and AIDS programming in resource-poor settings at the field level and providing technical assistance to Community Health Workers
• At least 2 years’ in community ART services

Education Experience
• Diploma/degree in social work, community development
• Certificate in Psychosocial counselling
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Project management will be an added advantage
• Computer literate in Microsoft office packages
• Basic level in DHIS2 (data entry)
