JOB DETAILS:
WWF is planning an external evaluation for the project “Strengthening Community Law Enforcement and Sustainable Livelihoods in Kavango Zambezi TFCA (KAZA)” fully described in the attached Terms of Reference. It is a 3-5 year project which started in 2018. It is funded by the European Union and has a budget of EUR 1,2 Mio. The Project was implemented in three countries: Zambia, Zimbabwe and Namibia. We are looking for a consultant to perform the final evaluation. The Assignment should start asap (preferably in August, latest in September). The maximum duration is 60 calendar days with a minimum of 15 workdays.

Requirements for a Suitable Consultant:
1. At least five (5) years of experience in evaluating integrated Conservation and livelihoods Actions in Sub Saharan Africa
2. experience in development interventions in the sector of Wildlife Conservation and/or Climate Smart Agriculture including the relevant policy / strategic frameworks of the three countries through at least two (2) projects.
3. English: C1 expertise

The consultant needs to submit an updated CV and a proposal incl. Methodology, proposed Budget and a planning schedule (the latter can be found in the Annex of the ToR). It is preferable to have a consultant who is located in one of the three project countries.
In case cross border restrictions are still in place, the consultant would need to work remotely. The covid situation is still bad in Zim an Zam and our field offices are closed. So travels might not be that useful anyway.
