JOB DETAILS:
Our Client, an established Bank in Zambia is recruiting a season professional for the role of Information Security Officer. The successful candidate will be fully responsible for the Information Security of the Banks e-wallet and for ensuring the security of the Banks various Information Assets. Experienced individuals who have a minimum of 5 years experience in an Information Security position in a regulated financial institution of Mobile Money Operator to apply.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
Reporting To : General Manager
Supervision Of: Self
Interacts With : Management and Team .

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Ensure strategic alignment between Business and Information Security Risk Control framework.
• Design, monitor and implement the Bank’s IS strategy and roadmap
• Define requirements for risk controls during the introduction of new Software, Hardware, and Information Assets.
• Provide assurance on implemented security controls on the e-wallet platform
• Design and implement controls to help monitor day-to day quality and accuracy of Information Security policies and processes
• Manage Information Security gaps by applying the Plan-Do-Act-Adjust Cycle approach
• Ensure overall quality of Information Security controls executed by team members
• Report to Management and the Holding Information Security office on the status of Information Security incidents
• Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of audit findings related to Information Security.

Qualifications
• Certification in Information Security (e.g., CISM, CISSP, CRISC etc.) is highly desired
Software
• Comprehensive knowledge of ISO 27001/2 and other frameworks (e.g., NIST, PCI DSS).
Knowledge Of
• Solid experience with creation of ISMS policies, standards, procedures, and other documents with a firm understanding of their impact on the organization. Solid Project Management experience
Skills To
• Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills. High level of interpersonal skills to interact with Senior Management and Business counterparts at multiple levels and facilitate team interactions
Ability To
• Analytical aptitude with an emphasis on investigative, methodical critical questioning and logical thinking.
Other Requirements
• Strong working knowledge related to Network Connectivity, Infrastructure, Operating Systems, Architecture Security, Production Support and Asset Management
