Job Description
Right to Care (RTC) is a non-profit company with a vision that all HIV-positive patients receive high quality treatment, care and support, improving their quality of life and productivity in South Africa and other African Countries.
The EQUIP Consortium is led by Right to Care (RTC) in collaboration with four other Africa based Partners. The EQUIP Consortium provides countries with innovative and customized solutions that increase HIV testing and linkage to care, widens the coverage of ART, expands capacity for viral load monitoring and improves retention of patients on ART. With the support of USAID, EQUIP is designed to provide rapid responses to the needs of high-priority PEPFAR countries. .

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Participate in data collection training (in-house)
• Retrieval of patient files
• Ensure quality of collected data, including data entry and management.
• Transfer data to server
• Communicate with the research team about relevant project issues and provide updates.
• Ensure ethical research procedures are adhered to and complied with.
• Manage interpersonal relationship with facility staff at research sites and ensure minimal disruption to normal health facility activities.
• About the Organization

TECHNICAL AND BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES
• Working knowledge and/or experience with SMARTCARE, ODK and SurveyCTO.
• Work independently, patient/work confidentiality,
• Organisational and communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Aptitude for and interest in numbers
• Interpersonal skills
• Time management and goal setting

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Diploma in Public Health, Social Sciences or relevant field from a recognised institution.
• At least 2 years’ prior work experience in related field.
• Skilled in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and MS Access.
• Working knowledge of HIV/AIDs
