Deputy Chief of Party ZAMFAM Central Province
Development Aid from People to People (DAPP) is inviting suitably qualified and experienced persons for apply for the position as a Deputy Chief of Party for ZAMFAM SOUTH CENTRAL in the Central Province
The project has the objective to improve the welfare for 125,000 orphan and vulnerable children infected with, affected by or made vulnerable to HIV and to build resilience in their families. It operates in 10 districts of Central and Southern Provinces of Zambia and is funded by USAID/PEPFAR. The project is from November 2015 to November 2020.
The position is based in Kabwe where the project has its headquarters.
Deputy Project Director Central Province: Overseeing all programming incl. technical quality of services in the operation area. Supervising and building capacity in the project staff including 4 district coordinator, 30 project leaders and 90 Community Mobilizers (field staff), 8 data clerks and 4 accounts clerks. Supervising and monitoring 3 sub-partners. Planning, organising and monitoring project activities with main focus on HIV services for the targeted children, education for the children and economic strengthening of the families.
Coordinating with key partners including other USAID funded project and government line department. Linking with government established community structures such as CWACs and CHWs. .

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in public health, social sciences or related degree.
• 5 years’ experiences in managing HIV care and support projects.
• 3 years’ supervision experiences.
• Experiences in planning, designing, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of bigger projects.
