The Kansanshi club house is located within a residential Golf Estate and includes a restaurant, bar and function facility. The club house provides daily food and beverage services to all members, and co-ordinates many business and social events. The clubhouse is managed to a very high standard of customer service and quality.
The Kansanshi Clubhouse operates on a membership basis, and includes internal and external members. Membership can include various options, including various recreational activities. This role will include management of the daily operations of the club house, which includes, but is not limited to the following key responsibilities:
This position will be required to adhere to all relevant requirements, policies, procedures and legal regulations pertaining to health, safety, environment and quality, as well as finance, human resources, and any other regulations as required by the company and relevant to the level of the role and responsibilities of the function. .

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the daily activities of the club house, including the kitchen, front-of-house and bar areas, including daily inspections of all areas.
• Ensure a high standard of customer service.
• Maintain a consistent high standard of food quality, which includes supplier sourcing, quality control and inspection, and food testing.
• Ensure required hygiene standards are maintained with regard to equipment, employees and facilities.
• Weekly stock control and reporting.
• Ensure environmental compliance with regard to employee medical examinations and Ministry of Health audit findings.
• Management of housekeeping, including thorough cleaning schedules and supervision of cleaning contractors.
• Ensure all club house procedures are regularly updated and in place.
• Oversee training of all team members with regard to all club house procedures.
• Ensure all club house licenses are valid and displayed for compliance purposes.
• Manage and coach a team of supervisors for front of house, administration, and kitchen services.
• Ensure stock levels and purchases are maintained at required levels by implementing re-order levels.
• Monitor stock trends and reporting of stock utilization monthly.
• Ensure recipes for all menu items are available and kitchen staff are adequately trained, as well as ensuring compliance to portion control procedures.
• Oversee financial and accounts systems at the club house.
• Manage club house costs to ensure adherence to budget.
• Design and implement methods to improve security at the Club House, checking visitors are members, nonmembers have signed in, visible appearance during busy events, monitoring social behaviors during service hours and reporting/improving any security issues which may have occurred.
• Coordinate pre-arranged and ad-hoc business and social functions and events at the club house, or any other approved external venue.
• Ensure a high quality of food presentation and implement new and improved menus including healthy lifestyle options as well as fine dining.
• Continuous training of team members, including waiters, bar service and kitchen staff to develop skills and improve customer service.
• Regular inspection of stock to ensure freshness, including rotation of stock to maintain compliance.
• Identify maintenance requirements and request maintenance works to ensure clubhouse equipment and facilities are in good working order and safe for members.
• Other duties as directed by the Manager.

Qualifications
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Minimum of a 3 year Diploma in Food Management / Preparation or catering
• Course / program in business management / administration will be an advantage
• A minimum of 8 years’ experience in the high end hospitality industry with at least 3 of those years in a managerial level position.
• Literacy in M/S Outlook, Excel, Word.
• Extensive knowledge of POS software.
