Overall Job Purpose
The position of maintenance coordinator is to maximise plant availability through coordination of maintenance personnel and plant equipment spares to ensure set plant equipment reliability is achieved in a safe environment. This role is responsible for maintaining operational integrity of the plant and equipment in order to achieve production targets.

Specific Job Responsibility
• Offer technical guidance to all supervisors under the superintendent to the plant runs efficiently and in safe manner.
• Be a self-starter and able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Demonstrate a commitment to work place safety and the safety of your subordinates.
• Be accurate, methodical, and practical when giving guidance to mechanical supervisors and artisans.
• Ensure subordinates follow laid down policies and procedures as out lined by management.
• Enforce compliance to work order attachments and documents such as JSA’s, work procedure’s, SWI’s, etc.
• Co-ordinate and ensure compliance with safety and environmental management systems, policies and procedures along with ensuring that all risks have been identified, managed and safe working environment is maintained.
• Enforce good housekeeping practices are maintained by enforcing cleaning up before, during and after every task and not leaving any hazards within the work place.
• Provide the superintendent with practical suggestions and improvements for the section.
• Coordinate with departmental team members, as well as process departmental members.
• Have the ability to plan for shutdowns, arrange materials and manpower allocation in collaboration with planning department.
• Assist in the proactive identification of repair and maintenance works required, which includes spares sourcing abilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Report all safety related incidents / accidents to your supervisor.

Job Specific Competencies
• Must be familiar with safe working practices.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Knowledge of Pronto will be advantageous.
• Plant- specific experience in hard rock fixed copper processing plants.
• Previous experience in a large open pit mining, milling, and flotation operation will be advantageous.
• Demonstrable experience with maintenance management systems and RCA will be advantageous.
• Ability to manage and implement company procedures.
• Provide feedback to supervisor regarding employee morale and concerns.
• Ability to create a safety and quality conscious team.

Overall Job Purpose
Responsible for the execution of all Auto Electrical work and Air-conditioning repairs on various vehicles, Earth moving machineries and ancillary equipment to ensure maximum operational performance is achieved in a safe and cost effective manner while ensuring compliance with relevant procedures, polices, legal requirements and consent conditions.

Specific Job Responsibility
• Perform auto electrical work on vehicles and heavy equipment machinery.
• Adhere to the company’s planned and preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Respond to unplanned breakdowns when on duty timeously.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
• Diagnose error codes and repair electrical faults in various vehicles and machinery
• Maintain work area/s in a satisfactory condition and ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety requirements
• Maintain the correct and safe usage of all hand tools and company property within your section.
• Other duties as instructed by the Supervisor.

Job Specific Competencies
• Demonstrated application of continuous improvement principles.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely and improve team safety awareness.
• Member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
• Can demonstrate understanding of mobile equipment electrical circuit analysis, troubleshooting, installation and repair.
• Proven ability to maintain, repair, wire, and install auto electrical components including electrical harnesses, starter motors, alternators, valves, solenoids.
• Install Black Box units and start interrupt
• Be able to program Black Box units

We are looking for an experienced TBL operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating a TBL in a farming setting. He or she will be, operating the TLB in a safe and efficient manner, and completing work according to the project specifications. The candidate must have a strong understanding of farming safety procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment on a variety of farming projects
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain proper documentation, including time sheets, work orders, and other required paperwork
• Communicate with project managers and other personnel to ensure smooth operation of farming projects
• Operate TLB in accordance with instructions from Farm manager
• Dig trenches, holes, or foundations, as well as grade land to prepare it for farming activities
• Backfill excavations using shovels or other hand tools
• Use rakes or hoes to level topsoil
• Smooth out rough spots on newly graded land
• Remove debris and other obstacles from farming site

Required Skills and Qualifications
• Grade twelve school certificate or equivalent
• Proven experience as TLB operator with traceable references
• Valid certification to operate heavy machinery
• Excellent physical strength and stamina
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
• Strong understanding of safety procedures
• Ability to perform basic maintenance on equipment
• Leadership skills and ability to work well in a team
