Kasempa radio located in North- Western province of Zambia and is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified Zambian to fill the vacant position of News Editor.
Qualifications
Diploma in Journalism
At least 2 years experience in radio industry
Key responsibilities and duties include
1. Head the newsroom and supervise all News reporters
2. Conduct news room diaries
3. Assign reporters to gather news stories from the field
4. Edit news
5. Decide the stories that are news worthy
6. Be able to cast news bulletins
7. Anchor live and recorded radio programmes
8. Ensure that programming adhere to journalism ethics and editorial guidelines

Team player and able to make quick programming adjustments and decisions to the best interest of the radio station
