We are looking for an administrative assistant to join Tearfund’s Theology and Network Engagement Team. You will be working with a global team, providing administrative and project assistance, and supporting relationship management. You will also assist Tearfund’s theological training and development as necessary, and gain exposure in this area of work.

• is organised and relational, and able to work in a dynamic environment
• has experience working cross-culturally and with people at all levels of an organisation
• will provide a calm, confident, and welcoming contact person for the team

Please note: This role is open to applicants based in the UK Tearfund Office or any country office where Tearfund is registered, can employ staff, and where applicants have the right to live and work. This is a part time, 2 year fixed term role working 1.5 days per week.
The recruitment process will include specific checks related to safeguarding issues. In addition, personal identification information will be submitted against a Watchlist database to check against criminal convictions as a counter-terror measure

RECONCILIATION CONTROLLER – Reporting to the Credit Controller
Among other responsibilities, you are expected to;
• 100% Execution of Reverse Logistics bookings, and correct Load Closure, daily.
• Proper filing (electronic or otherwise) of proof of deliveries with zero missing and checking validity of proof of deliveries.
• Correctly processing returns documents & Claims to reflect correctly in Warehouse, Driver or Customer accounts.
• Reconciliation and processing of drivers’ and transporter settlements and shortages, and providing monthly statements of the same.
• Continuously reviewing and processing of outstanding Claims on Modern Trade Business to Business Systems against Actual Claims presented. Following up and closing all differences.
• Daily Management of Proof of Deliveries (POD), reporting any missing PODs.
• Clear communications on any anomaly or items requiring senior management attention.

Qualifications & Experience
• Degree in Accounting, or equivalent professional Qualification (including part qualified)
• 2 years’ experience in FMCG Environment, and audit experience will be added advantage
• Must be Highly Numerate and self-motivated to contribute to winning team
