This is a senior position reporting to the General Manager.

ROLE SUMMARY
To develop and maintain sales, marketing, and business development strategies to meet agreed company objectives and to evaluate customer metrics, market conditions, competitor data and implement sales and marketing plans. The incumbent shall be responsible for generating strategies that will create interest in MICC services and offerings, whilst simultaneously explore methods by which to convert such interest into worthy transactions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for maximizing occupancy of Conference Centre by maintaining business and sourcing new avenues of business
• Developing marketing strategy for MICC
• Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
• Conduct market research to determine market segments for existing and future products Forecast quarterly business trends for conferences (local regional, international) in the pipeline
• Developing marketing campaigns with sales activities
• Manage and implore lead generation campaigns and measure results
• Creation of publication of all marketing materials in line with marketing plans
• Overseeing the company’s marketing budget
• Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity regional and international
• Develop annual marketing Plans Link between GMs Office and operations for communicating to all relevant information and initiating corporate driven initiatives to the team

• Prepare Key Result Areas (KRA) and develop individual KPI for the Sales Team Carry out performance appraisal for the sales team
• Liaise with Press to ensure the Centre gets adequate publicity and brand visibility.
• Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation. content duration, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis.
• Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups
• Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
• Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely, whilst monitoring monthly sales performance
• Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures and case studies
• Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
• Analyze consumer behavior and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly
