Reporting directly to the Executive: Sustainability & Corporate Affairs, the Manager, Communications (or the Communications Manager) is responsible for internal and external communications for the business.

Responsibilities:
• Implement sustainable communications initiatives and ESG / corporate social responsibility strategies to enhance corporate brand awareness of the business
• Work closely with senior management to develop specific communication strategies, and to develop, implement, oversee and evaluate an integrated communications plan
• Oversee the production of communication materials including internal and external monthly newsletters for outreach to critical stakeholders to the business
• Manage website and develop social media strategies together with digital and creative teams
• Identify opportunities and build a social media presence for a variety of clients’ groups and stakeholders
• Plan, implement and manage all media events for the business
• Develop strong relationships with media stakeholders through initiative aimed sustainable two-way engagement between the business and the media industry
• Manage relationship with media/PR agencies including ensuring quality output delivery and on budget
• Project management activities, such as gathering communication requirements, targeting the right message and audience, budgeting, reporting and meeting required timelines
• Driving understanding of business stakeholder engagement needs across the organisation
• Scoping and defining internal and external stakeholder engagement need for the business
• Nurturing a healthy two-way engagement process with target audiences internally
• Ensuring the business’ brand values are embedded into all communication deliverables
• Establishing and managing a network of communications champions across the business
