JOB DETAILS:
Goldenlay Agri Ltd is the largest producer, supplier, and distributor of table eggs across Zambia, and boasting a brand familiar to retailers and consumers alike. Goldenlay is hereby inviting applications from suitable qualified candidates to fill the position of Security Guards x 4

RESPONSIBILITIES
• The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the company property and individual property is protected.
• No unauthorized entry into the Goldenlay premises and that bio security measures are followed
• Ensure that all records and registers for security inquiries are updated, kept properly and secure.
• Give guidance to visitors on company rules and regulations whilst on company premises.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively to the relevant authorities on all matters related to crime, disciplinary and emergencies reported to security inquiries
• Ensure that all drivers disembark from the vehicle and follow bio security measures.
• Report immediately all incidents that occur during day or night shifts to the Officer in charge.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of a Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
• Must be between the age of 25 and 35 years
• Must be physically fit
• At least 3 years’ experience as a Security Guard
• Able to communicate effectively, verbally and written
• No criminal record

Background
Oxfam started working in southern Africa in the 1980s. Since then, we have implemented both development and humanitarian programmes to support practical and innovative ways for people to lift themselves out of poverty.

The Role
The position is accountable to the SAF Cluster regional leadership team for the delivery, effective management (which includes budgets and planning), monitoring and evaluation, and learning from the cluster programs.

Job Purpose
To help deliver Oxfam’s strategy and program to protect those we work with from sexual exploitation and abuse perpetrated by Oxfam representatives.
The person
We are looking for an individual who is dynamic, charismatic and credible leader with the following:

• Experience of
o conducting sexual exploitation and abuse investigations
o working within an international context
o working in an NGO or UN context
• Skilled in identifying and mitigating risks
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills
• Commitment to upholding and modelling Oxfam’s values, demonstrating integrity, diplomacy, professionalism, reliability and resilience at all times.
• Able to work professionally and with a high degree of confidentiality at all times.
• Ability to quickly build personal rapport and trust
• Empathy for the challenges survivors face in reporting and the pressures an investigation places on all stakeholders, including the alleged perpetrator and management.
• Excellent written and spoken English

Desirable
• Experience of working in challenging field locations e.g. refugee camps
• Strong IT skills
• High degree of organisational ability, working well under pressure and to deadlines.
• Strong and clear communicator and public speaker, capable of delivering messages appropriately to a variety of audiences, building a sense of passion and engagement.

JOB DETAILS:
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for working in a 24×7 Security Operation centre (SOC) environment.
• Understanding of security concepts such as cyber-attacks and techniques, threat vectors, risk management etc.
• Understanding of Incident Management and Response, handling escalations.
• Conduct Threat intelligence assessment
• Conduct proactive research to analyze security weaknesses and recommend appropriate strategies.
• Provide analysis and trending of security log data from a large number of heterogeneous security devices
• Provide threat and vulnerability analysis as well as security advisory services
• Analyze and respond to previously undisclosed software and hardware vulnerabilities
• Investigate, document, and report on information security issues and emerging trends
• Ensure that the company knows as much as possible, as quickly as possible about security incidents
• Develop technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
• Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancement

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
The following knowledge, skills, and abilities may be acquired through a combination of formal schooling, self-education, prior experience, or on-the-job training.
• Any of the below certifications or equivalent certifications related to Cyber Security is preferred.
– Certified Ethical Hacker
– CompTIA Security+ or CompTIA CySA+
– Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator EC Counc
– EC Council Certified Security Analyst – EC Council
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information technology, or similar preferred.
• Minimum of 2 – 4 years of experience in Cyber security
• Proven work experience as a System Security Engineer or Information Security Engineer
• Knowledge of various operating system flavors including but not limited to Windows, Linux, Unix
• Knowledge of TCP/IP Protocols, network analysis, and network/security applications
• Knowledge of common Internet protocols and applications
• Knowledge about various tools like – SIEM, SSL, Packet Analysis, Network Monitoring tools, Remedy etc.
• Communicate effectively by contributing significantly to the delivery reports for diverse audiences
• Experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools
• Hands on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc.
• Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
• Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• A valid driving license with 2 years plus driving experience is an added advantage.
