Uluse Minerals Limited is a mining company located in Kabwe looking for a Human Resources Manager, Qualified Accountant and Geological Surveyor.

Role Summary
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your duties will include but not limited to the following.

Responsibilities
• Development, implementation and support the entities objectivity through continual audit of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company requirements for Accounting Records and standards, Taxation and Asset protection and internal financial controls.
• Recording of Financial and business transactions in the accounting software package.
• Tax management- (VAT Payable/Claim, VAT credibility report, Withholding VAT, Withholding Tax, PAYE and Mineral Royalty).
• Assist in Tax Audit processes with ZRA and External Auditors.
• Bank, Payable and receivable reconciliation.

Minimum Education Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:
• Must have at least 3-5 years relevant work experience.
• Must be a holder of CA Zambia II, ACCA II, CIMA II, Degree in Accountancy, or any Finance related field.
• A member of ZICA.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Demonstrates understanding of the relationship between time, resource allocation, and the Firm’s profitability and productivity.
• Keeps accurate and effective records of own time.
• Completes own work within timescale and to budget.
• Able to work under minimal supervision
• Builds constructive relationships with other team members.
• Provides relevant feedback to the team leader or supervisor in a timely manner.
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.

JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary
Reporting to the Finance & Admin Lead, the Finance & Admin Officer will have responsibility for financial administration, including the management of the accounts, policy information required for various funding returns as well as undertaking general admin tasks under the guidance of the Finance and Admin Lead.

Specific Responsibilities/Tasks
• To ensure that all financial transactions are posted in pastel daily, (ie all payments and receipts) and that correct codes have been assigned to such transactions in accordance with the exiting chart of accounts.
• To ensure that the receipts are banked intact daily and collect bank statements for each of the bank accounts every month.
• To ensure that receipts are correctly verified with dispatch records before they are posted to pastel.
• To undertake ledger analysis at least once in a month so as to eliminate or minimize mis-postings.
• To ensure that bank reconciliations are done every month and related bank reconciliation statements for each bank account are produced by the 10th of every month for the preceding month’s transaction.
• To ensure that all expenditure incurred is not only budgeted for, but is also justifiable. To this effect you have to ensure that all payments to be made have the necessary supporting documents duly authorized by relevant powers.
• To ensure that before Petty cash is expended all disbursement procedures have been adhered to and is used only for authorized purposes.
• To prepare monthly management accounts by the 10th of every month for previous month’s transaction.
• To reconcile stock with ledger balances and ensure physical stocks agree with pastel inventory balances.
• To assist Head of Departments in budget preparation in line with any budget guidelines that may be set by management and to consolidate the budgets into a master budget for the organization.
• Analysis of Fuel accounts and preparation of monthly reports.
• To check, update and maintain Asset register.
• Assisting the senior management team with the collection/compiling of data as required including using an HR software package.
• Assisting the senior management team with recruitment/induction processes, including job advertisement, draft job offer letters and contracts and filing of such HR records.
• Undertake general admin tasks under the direction of the senior management team such dealing with correspondence etc….
• The above range of duties and responsibilities is not exhaustive; post holders will be expected to perform work of a similar level and responsibility when requested to do so.

Role Purpose
This role is responsible for managing key account customers for both the seed and crop protection business. This includes driving government and corporate tenders, NGOs business, management of key distributors. The role holder acts as the lead point of contact for all key client maters, anticipation of the customer needs, and coordination of cross-functional activities to meet client expectations and enable customer success.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks
// Work closely with the Territory Manager to develop accurate forecasts for key accounts.
// Plans and conducts effective sales calls/visits with key account customers.
// Expanding existing relationships and bring on board new customers in the key account channel.
// Provides agronomic support and advice to the customers and prospects.
// Works with customers on complaints to ensure they are resolved.
// Provides after sales customer service and appropriate product stewardship support to increase customer loyalty.
// Plans and delivers presentations to customers and potential customers through farmer/customer farmer days and other market engagement activities.
// Develops, executes, and continuously improves GTM plans for allocated key accounts, to increase customer engagement, market share, and profitability.
// Allocates and utilizes available resources to maximize return on short-term and long-term strategic plan for sales area.
// Actively contributes to the gathering and analysis of market intelligence and suggests changes or improvements to distribution strategy and farmers segmentation.
// Takes full accountability for debt collection from all Key account customers.

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
// A minimum of a university undergraduate degree in business or agricultural sciences.
// A minimum of 7 years of experience in sales. Experience in the agriculture sector is preferable.
// Proven track record of delivering sales and related commercial targets.
// Excellent industry networking skills
// Ability to work effectively in a global, team based and matrix environment.
// Strong commercial acumen.
