JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
To ensure that Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure is safeguarded through the installation of firewalls and other protective measures.

Responsibilities:
• Complying with health, safety, security, and housekeeping standards in the work environment.
• Ensure that all Server systems are backed-up.
• Ensuring adequate network bandwidth for Mine Operations is supplied by the ISP and adequately monitored on-site.
• Maintain user accounts and resolve issues affecting the users.
• Perform regular system backups to the company server systems.
• Monitor network performance tools and investigate any instances of packet loss or unusual latency.
• Review device configuration.
• Manage Exchange Mail Server.
• Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems, and outages; scheduling upgrades.
• Design network diagrams and infrastructure plans for optimal network performance.
• Provide technical support for Box.
• Monitor network performance and internet usage by employees.
• Applying organization code of conduct on ICT usage protocols in the work environment.
• Conduct basic system user training for the employees.
• Collaborate with Finance team in the evaluation of IT products and services by suppliers.
• Collaborate with contractors during network infrastructure installations.
• Suggest cost-effective IT initiatives and computer networking tools.
• Fostering and maintaining cordial relations with IT suppliers.
• Ensuring the company is using fully licensed computer software packages.
• Ensuring the company’s ICTs and other related technologies comply with ZICTA guidelines.

Skills & Qualifications: –
• Grade 12 School certificate
• Bachelor’s Degree in ICTs or Computer Science
• CCNA Certification
• Member of the Information and Communications Technology Association of Zambia – ICTAZ
• At least 5 years of experience in a function/ specialist area
• Understanding of law and government regulations relating to IT
• Computer skills relating to troubleshooting and resolving server-related issues
• Administration and management skills
• Technical troubleshooting/ fault finding
• Good at interpersonal skills when interacting with computer users
• Able to make quick logical decisions
• Log all IT issues and requests to a centralized system

• Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance
• Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Writing well designed, testable, efficient cod

Qualifications/Skills
• Relevant qualification will be an added advantage but not a must
• Proven hands-on Development experience
• Proven working experience in Java development
• Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java/Kotlin
• Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
• Profound insight of Java/Kotlin
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL
• Experience in the Spring Framework

JOB DETAILS:
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Magistrate in Charge for Subordinate Court and the Provincial Local Courts officer for Provincial Local Courts office of the Station and some of the responsibilities will include the following:
• Timely and accurate typing of case records and different types of documents
• Render secretarial services such as receiving clients
• Proof reading and correcting of correspondences
• Practice confidentiality and make arrangements for clients' appointments to meet superior officers
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Full Form V or Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate with five (5) 'O' or better including English. levels Credit or better including English.
• Certificate in Typing and Secretarial from a reputable training school
• Minimum speed of 45 to 55 words per minute
