Job Purpose
The Senior Relationship Officer – Investment, will oversee all Company sales and marketing policies, objectives and initiatives. Collaborate with the vendors to plan, develop and execute a solid business plan which covers customers, partners, sales enablement for partners, competitive selling, managing complex deals and helping to grow the business across a wide portfolio of products. Work closely with the CEO to set short- and long-term sales strategies and evaluate the effectiveness of current sales programs. Enhancing relationships with various clients and counterparties to ensure efficient client servicing and business flows.

Summary of Key Responsibilities;
• Define sales, channel and go-to-market for Investment products assigned which are aligned to our vendors.
• Identify, recruit and enable channel and solutions partners; conduct regular solutions and sales updates, etc.
• Conduct Marketing and research analysis to assess competitor strategies, assess areas of growth in the business

• Initial and conduct joint account planning sessions with partners; plan and execute joint end users demand generation activities with partners.

• Build a strong base of end-user networks for business opportunities and requirement
• Engage the Vendor to develop the annual marketing plan inclusive of the social media plan
• Reviewing and monitoring the implementation of the marketing strategy
• Be the sales champion for assigned product solutions among selected high-touch accounts; establish a sales development plan targeting business and technical decision makers; plan and execute quarterly target account activities.
• Build a strong base of end-user networks for business opportunities and requirements.
• Formulating the Marketing budget and strategically analyzing which activities will be most effective in collaboration with advertising agencies.
• Provide oversight over the social media management and interact with internal and external partners to develop relevant messaging and content
• Engage Financial and other Institutions for possible partnerships and distribution channels.
• Ensuring that clients are satisfied with our products and identifying opportunities for cross-selling
• Supports training program to build the capacity of business development across the division
• Develop and cultivate relationships with technical specialists, subject-matter experts, and professional writers to contribute to technical solution designs, reviews, and analyses of proposals and business development strategies within the practice

Required Skills and Competencies
• Excellent writing skills, including the ability to write under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
• Strong research skills including the ability to efficiently gather, compile and synthesize relevant information.
• Ability to work collaboratively on cross-functional and diverse proposal teams.
• Must be able to multi-task/meet the demands of an unpredictable schedule of assignments and competing priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills

Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree required in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration and or Commercial Field.
• Must have a minimum of 4-5 years of Relationship Management/Sales and Marketing or business development experience with a Commercial Bank or Investment/financial institution
• Should be able to review the requirements of clients to determine suitable investment products.
• Strong research skills including the ability to efficiently gather, compile and synthesize relevant information.
• Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and
devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
• Ability to lead and motivate a high-performance sales team
• Expert in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in shaping the way IHM is perceived by key audiences and stakeholders. You will drive brand awareness by being involved in all stages of the communications process from concept to message development to result oriented evaluation

Responsibilities
• Develops and effectively leads the communications function, based on organizational priorities and stakeholder interests
• Develops and effectively delivers the Institute’s media strategy, ensuring that all brand targets are fully met
• Use social media to tell our story in creative and inspiring ways that resonate with various audiences
• Manage website content and design to ensure delivery of clear and creative content

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Communications
• 5+ years’ of experience in communications operations
• Experience posting and formatting content using a Content Management System (CMS)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in managing communications strategy on donor funded projects.
