Position Summary:

We require a skilled AC/HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems at our mining camps, offices, and plant areas. Experience in remote or industrial sites is crucial for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems in mining camps, offices, and plant areas.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on split units, package units, chillers, and ventilation systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems.
• Handle refrigerants responsibly and in accordance with regulations.
• Work from technical manuals, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and meets quality standards.
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Trade Test Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience.
• Experience in industrial or remote site environments is strongly preferred.
• Certification in refrigerant handling (e.g., EPA 608) is an advantage.
• Journeyman-level technician with specialization in HVAC is required.

General Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Physically fit for lifting and working at heights.
• Must be based in Solwezi or willing to relocate immediately.
