Role Overview:

To effectively and efficiently carry out boiler-making maintenance works on Plant machinery, mobile equipment and infrastructure.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Executes work orders and defect dockets on boiler-making /metal fabrication.
• Interprets engineering mechanical drawings.
• Diagnose the nature of mechanical component defects and determining the required parts and materials for repairs.
• Reports work progress and completed tasks to the Boiler Maker Foreman in order for the works to be evaluated and certified.
• To uphold safety, health and environmental standards in line with the safety and environment policy.

Preferred candidate qualifications & experience

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Craft Certificate in Boiler-making/Metal fabrication.
• EIZ Member
• Must have a valid silicosis certificate
• Relevant Professional Experience: 2 years
