JOB DETAILS:
We are seeking qualified and experienced Construction Supervisors to join our team at our Lusaka Headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that construction works comply with project specifications, timelines, and safety standards.
- Oversee daily site operations and ensure construction activities adhere to project plans and specifications.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers and subcontractors on-site to maintain productivity and quality standards.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure efficient progress.
- Liaise with engineers, architects, and project managers to resolve technical issues and implement design changes.
- Prepare and submit daily progress reports and attend site meetings.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of construction equipment and materials.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Advanced certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, health & safety standards, and building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Ability to draw building plans.
- Assist in workforce planning and provide on-site training where necessary.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with construction management software is an added advantage.
- Valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
