Background

ALISTAIR Group is one of East and Southern Africa’s fastest-growing logistics and services companies. With operations spanning multiple countries and industries, we deliver self-performed logistics solutions across road freight, warehousing, commodity trading, equipment rental, and more.

In 2024, we surpassed 1,000 employees and managed a fleet of 1,000+ trucks—and we’re just getting started. If you thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing environment and want to make a real impact across Africa, this is your opportunity.

We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Document Control Coordinator to manage and maintain critical operational documentation across multiple platforms. This role is key to ensuring accurate information, smooth workshop flow, and strong cross-team communication

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update documents across SmartSheets, Google Sheets, Excel, and FMP (Fleet Maintenance Pro)
  • Conduct daily document checks to ensure accuracy and relevance
  • Identify and report process gaps or documentation issues
  • Log and track breakdowns and workshop flow, ensuring timely follow up
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance and consistency
  • Support the rollout of improved document control processes and best practices

Experience

  • Experience with document management systems (SmartSheets, Google Sheets, Excel; FMP advantageous)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • Exposure to maintenance or breakdown management

Working times

Mondays – Fridays 07h30 – 16h30 & alternate Saturdays 08h00 – 12h00
