JOB DETAILS:

Responsibilities or duties
- Conduct vehicle inspections before and after each trip
- Complete the daily vehicle defect book and vehicle condition reports
- Transport and deliver goods safely and on schedule
- Ensure all cargo and vehicle documentation is complete and secure
- Obtain proof of delivery and customer signatures
- Assist with loading and offloading when required
- Position the truck for efficient loading and unloading operations
- Comply with all traffic laws and company safety procedures
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)
- Valid Class C, C1, or CE Driver’s Licence
- Aged between 25 and 30 years
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Defensive Driving Certificate
- Eye test results
- Police clearance certificate
- Fingerprints
- Honest and reliable
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Experience needed
- Minimum 3 years’ work experience
