Good Time Steel Company Zambia Limited, a leading manufacturing company, is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position of Electrician Craftsmen.

Job Purpose:

To carry out installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in order to ensure efficient and continuous plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems
• Diagnose electrical faults and carry out timely repairs
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Assist in minimizing downtime by responding promptly to breakdowns
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Keep accurate records of maintenance work performed

Minimum Requirements:

• Craft Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 2–3 years relevant work experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and industrial equipment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams
• Member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) will be an added advantage
