To provide essential support to the finance and administrative functions of the organization, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of day-to-day activities. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who is committed to upholding high standards of accuracy and organizational efficiency in both financial and administrative tasks.

Duties

Finance

  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Support the reconciliation of staff floats, bank statements and other financial accounts.
  • Assist in preparation of support documentation for all payments.
  • Assist with petty cash planning and disbursements while ensuring proper documentation and adherence to petty cash policies.
  • Assist in collection of quotations and raising of payments.
  • Support compliance efforts with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Assist with managing participant list payments for workshops & meetings.

Admin

  • Maintain supplier/consumables contact list.
  • Maintain an efficient filing system.
  • Support with assets management.

Key Requirements & Attributes

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial documentation and record-keeping.
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Professional attitude and eagerness to gain practical experience.
