To provide essential support to the finance and administrative functions of the organization, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of day-to-day activities. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive individual who is committed to upholding high standards of accuracy and organizational efficiency in both financial and administrative tasks.
Duties
Finance
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records.
- Support the reconciliation of staff floats, bank statements and other financial accounts.
- Assist in preparation of support documentation for all payments.
- Assist with petty cash planning and disbursements while ensuring proper documentation and adherence to petty cash policies.
- Assist in collection of quotations and raising of payments.
- Support compliance efforts with internal policies and external regulations.
- Assist with managing participant list payments for workshops & meetings.
Admin
- Maintain supplier/consumables contact list.
- Maintain an efficient filing system.
- Support with assets management.
Key Requirements & Attributes
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial documentation and record-keeping.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal).
- Professional attitude and eagerness to gain practical experience.
