HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER – LUSAKA

National Breweries PLC -Zambia’s premier producer and distributor of Traditional African Beer affiliated with Delta Beverages. Join our dynamic HR team to drive talent strategies, compliance, and employee engagement in a growth-oriented environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full recruitment cycle: adverts, shortlisting, interviews, onboarding.
  • Handle employee relations, disciplinary processes, leave/payroll admin under Zambian labour laws.
  • Support performance management, training, and HR weekly and monthly reporting/KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with ZIHRM standards and collective bargaining.
  • Ensures that Job Descriptions, in the approved format are developed, introduced
  • To maintain and update all employee records through the human resources management system.
  • To create, maintain and update personal files and personal records for staff in all departments
  • To communicate and implement policy decisions to all staff.
  • To monitor the Industrial Relations environment and advise management and employees accordingly.
  • To ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and the country’s labour regulations.
  • To advise line management on Conditions of Service, Disciplinary matters, Grievance handling procedures and labour-related issues.

Employment Resources

Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in HR Management or related; ZIHRM membership preferred.
  • 2+ years HR experience (manufacturing/unionized settings advantageous).
  • Strong MS Office/SAP skills; excellent communication and problem-solving.
  • Full Grade 12.
