Job Opportunity: Linesmen

We are inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to join our team as Linesmen.

Minimum Requirements:

• Craft Certificate in Lines
• Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in line construction and maintenance
• Valid EIZ 2026 (This is non-negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground distribution lines
• Erect poles and structures for power/network distribution
• String and tension conductors according to technical specifications
• Perform line inspections and fault identification
• Carry out maintenance on transformers and related distribution equipment
• Ensure proper earthing and safety compliance
• Respond to breakdowns and emergency faults
• Adhere strictly to health and safety standards

Competencies:

• Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems
• Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret basic line drawings
