Background

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanical Fitter to join our maintenance team and support the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of our factory. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a proactive approach to maintenance, and the ability to respond quickly to mechanical issues in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical repairs on machinery, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and related equipment
• Diagnose faults and perform corrective maintenance with accuracy and speed
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules and maintain detailed records
• Install, assemble, and align mechanical components and new equipment
• Interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and manuals
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and operational procedures
• Support production teams with technical guidance and troubleshooting

Qualifications & Experience

• Craft Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Fitting / Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, rotating equipment, and mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Experience with preventive maintenance systems is an added advantage
