Builders Warehouse is looking for dedicated team members to join our Kitwe store. We have openings for both Service Assistants and Retail Assistants to support our operations and deliver excellent customer service.

RETAIL ASSISTANT – Full-time

Summary: Assist customers on the sales floor, handle cashiering duties, pick and pack stock, and maintain housekeeping standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Satisfy customers: Greet and assist customers, direct to sales consultants, assist at Information Desk, handle price queries
• Cashiering: Process sales, handle floats, accept various tenders per business processes
• Pick, pack and count stock: Pack stock onto sales floor, place pricing tickets, identify damaged stock, assist with stock counts
• Housekeeping: Maintain neat aisles, ensure stock is packed in allocated areas, perform general cleaning

Requirements:

•  Grade 12 Certificate
•  Product Knowledge Training
•  1-2 years’ experience
•  Must demonstrate willingness to learn
•  Excellent customer service orientation and high integrity
•  Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
