About the Role
Peza Job Zambia is recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing company in Lusaka, specializing in industrial packaging materials, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager to drive business growth, expand market reach, and manage key client relationships.
The company manufactures:
- Shrink Film (used for packaging mineral water, beverages, pharmaceuticals)
- Printed Film (used for bread packaging, water sachets, snacks, etc.)
- Plain Baler Bags (used in bakeries, meat processing, and other industries)
This is a B2B sales-focused role, targeting manufacturing companies, distributors, and industrial clients across Zambia.
Job Purpose
To lead sales and marketing efforts by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and increasing revenue through strategic B2B sales within the manufacturing and FMCG packaging sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to grow B2B client base
- Identify and acquire new customers in manufacturing, FMCG, and industrial sectors
- Conduct market visits, client meetings, and product presentations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts
- Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, and pricing negotiations
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
- Work closely with production and logistics teams to ensure client satisfaction
- Maintain a structured sales pipeline and reporting system
- Represent the company in business meetings, trade engagements, and client visits
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong B2B sales and business development experience
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to generate and convert leads into long-term contracts
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strategic thinking with a results-driven mindset
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Good understanding of industrial or FMCG supply chains is an added advantage
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in:
- Sales & Marketing (preferably B2B)
- FMCG, manufacturing, packaging, or industrial products
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Experience in field sales and key account management
