STOCK CONTROLLER (STORES)
National Breweries Plc is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and highly organized Stock Controller to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
The Stock Controller will be responsible for the effective management, control, and accurate recording of all materials, spare parts, raw materials, packaging materials, and supplies within the stores.
Key duties will include:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery notes, and relevant documentation.
- Accurately record all receipts and stock movements in the inventory management system, including GRNs.
- Monitor stock levels and maintain minimum and maximum stock levels to prevent shortages.
- Issue materials to authorized departments against approved requisitions and ensure all transactions are properly documented.
- Conduct regular stock counts, reconciliations, and random checks, and investigate and report inventory variances.
- Monitor the shelf life and expiry dates of raw materials, chemicals, and other time-sensitive inventory.
- Maintain accurate stock records, bin cards, and inventory systems.
- Ensure proper storage, housekeeping, cleanliness, and organization of the stores.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock status reports.
- Report damaged, missing, expired, or non-conforming materials to the relevant departments.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Engineering, and other user departments to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate inventory records and supporting documentation.
- Perform any other duties reasonably assigned by management.

Qualification & Experience
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Three years’ work experience in an FMCG industry.
- At least Diploma in Stores management or bachelor’s degree in Procurement and supply chain or any other related Business field.
