About the Role
Our client is seeking a Vehicle Sales Executive / Sales Consultant to join their Car Sales Department. The role is responsible for achieving vehicle sales targets by delivering a professional customer experience, adhering to OEM sales processes, and representing BYD / Mazda brand standards. The position reports to the Head After Sales.
Job Purpose
To achieve vehicle sales targets by delivering a professional customer experience, adhering to OEM sales processes, and representing the BYD / Mazda brand standards.
Key Responsibilities (OEM-Aligned)
- Promote and sell new vehicles in accordance with BYD / Mazda sales policies and procedures
- Identify customer needs and recommend suitable vehicle models, features, and variants
- Conduct product presentations, test drives, and demonstrations in line with OEM guidelines
- Explain pricing, financing, insurance, registration, and exchange options to customers
- For BYD: Educate customers on EV technology, charging solutions, range, and ownership benefits
- Prepare accurate quotations, sales documents, and order forms
- Ensure timely follow-up with prospects to maximize conversion and customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with finance, insurance, and delivery teams to ensure smooth vehicle handover
- Maintain accurate customer data and sales activities in CRM / DMS systems
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and KPI objectives
- Ensure compliance with OEM brand standards, ethics, and customer experience requirements
- Participate in OEM training programs, product launches, and certification processes
Key Result Areas (KRAs) & KPIs
1. Sales Performance
- Achievement of vehicle sales targets (units and value)
- Conversion rate of leads to sales
2. Customer Experience
- Customer satisfaction scores (CSI / NPS)
- Quality of vehicle delivery and handover process
3. Process & Compliance
- Adherence to BYD / Mazda sales processes and brand standards
- Accuracy and timeliness of CRM / DMS data entry
- Zero major OEM audit non-compliances
4. Product Knowledge & Training
- Completion of OEM-mandated training and certifications
- Product and technology knowledge assessment scores
5. Lead & Relationship Management
- Timely follow-up on leads and enquiries
- Contribution to repeat and referral sales
Desired Skills and Experience
- Graduate or Diploma qualification (Automobile qualification preferred)
- 1–2 years’ experience in a vehicle sales dealership environment preferred
Compensation
The incumbent will receive a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
