Job Summary:
Silondwa Engineering Limited is hiring a competent and experienced Rigger to handle the lifting and moving of heavy equipment and materials. The Rigger must have excellent knowledge of rigging practices and the use of lifting equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and inspect rigging gear
- Safely lift and position heavy loads
- Follow instructions from supervisors and engineers on rigging plans
- Conduct regular checks and maintenance on rigging equipment
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
Qualifications & Experience:
- Certificate in Rigging or Lifting Operations
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in industrial rigging
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and load limits
- Ability to work in high-risk environments with attention to detail
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 36
Level of Education: professional certificate
