Background:

Chilanga Cement is the leading supplier of building materials and major construction solutions provider in Zambia and the regional market. The company operates two integrated Cement plants in Chilanga and Ndola.

Responsibilities:

• Organize, plan, supervise, assess, and advise on raw mix preparation and management of alternative raw material.
• Supervise grinding shop operations and Pyro-process operations.
• Ensure compliance with process best practices for efficient performance.
• Track process performance data and advise on improvement actions.

Qualifications:

• University Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
• 3-5 years' work experience in a continuous process manufacturing industry.
• Registered member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia.

Experience Needed:

Good knowledge of products and manufacturing processes, process measurements, SPC methods, project management, safety awareness, and computer literacy.
