Job Opportunity
• The Tanzania-Zambia Railway Authority (TAZARA) is a statutory institution owned by the two Governments of the United Republic of Tanzania and the Republic of Zambia on a 50/50 shareholding basis.
• The Authority seeks to employ experienced and qualified individuals in the following positions:

Job Title: Stenographer (2)
REPORTING TO: ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

Main Duties:
• Taking notes from Head of Department and typing
• Updating records in the Head of Departments diary
• Arranging the Head of Departments meetings
• Filing of documents
• Attending to clients
• Managing day to day activities of the office.
• Maintaining correspondence
• Handling office documents and materials

Qualifications:
• Grade 12 School Certificate
• Advanced Certificate
• 45/55 words per minute typing
• 80 words per minute shorthand

Experience:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience
SALARY SCALE: TSG 4
CLOSING DATE: The closing date for applications is 2nd February 2024
